Hi,

Kind of a newbie question so please forgive me if the answer is pretty
simple...

How the heck do you set up an alarm ? I've pretty much looked everywhere
and can't seem to find out how to do it. I have slimserver 5.1 running
and upgraded my squeezebox to version 7. All the documentation says that
the alarm is incorporated into 5.1

Thanks
ken

Go into the settings menu on your Squeezebox.

That's true, but the manual is missing the relevant information, and
for a newcomer your advice is not clear enough.

More precise (and I'm not sure that I've got it completely right yet) is:

Turn on the Squeezebox. Use the Up and Down keys (I'm not sure if the
Left key is ever needed) until the display shows "Settings". Press
the Right key, and you get to a choice of 11 setting items. I think
you will be started off in Alarm Clock (if not, use Up and Down to
reach it), press the Right key again, and you get a option to set
Alarm settings, and so on.

Other items of the 11 include Signal Strength, Player Information,
Server Information.
