I'm looking for a few 3.5mm female to RCA male cables in the UK. One like this - http://www.trianglecables.com/255-036.html. I just wondered if anyone could recommend a good online supplier in the UK. The site I've linked to does ship to the UK, but it seems a bit daft to put them in a plane.

Yes, I am using this with a Squeezebox. Yes, I know that's heresy. Sorry!

Thanks,

Max

Ha, I made one of those up yesterday for my Receiver!
I generally get bespoke top quality made-to-order from www.soundstable.co.uk, but this may be a bit over the top for what you want.

This is so you can listen to 'phones from the RCA outputs? Is is perceptibly better that way?
Just wondering...(?)

No, it's so I can plug a really cheap pair of speakers into a couple of boxes. Tragic, I know!

The receivers don't have a headphone socket, by the way.

That's backwards, unfortunately.

OK, if these are really cheap speakers, you presumably won't be too worried about minimising the number of connections. So, if you can easily get male-to-male RCA-to-minijack cables, add one of these: http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=1213&doy=16m3

And they arrived this morning. Just over 7.50 for 4 adapter cables and a couple of stereo splitters, including delivery. Definitely recommended.

Thanks again,

Max, just wanted to thank you for finding this supplier, who I had never heard of before.
Had a quick browse around and immediately bookmarked them.

Thanks is due to Richie (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=280032#post280032), not me.
