I have visited every electronics store on the area and still cannot solve my problem.
I need a device such as either portable (battery operated) speakers or a boom box which contains an input with enough amps to hear my MP3 when I am at the beach or in a boat. I am told amps of 100. Does any one know of a boombox or speakers other than the $300 bose kind that is available? Would love for the device to be small as possible. Many thanks

I do hope you're at a really deserted beach, because I deeply hate
people who force other people to listen to their music in public places.

.. which contains an input with enough amps to hear my MP3 ...

What kind of input?
You mean a portable device with a CD drawer?

Check out the JVC Kaboom Box series. Not quite 100 amps, but pretty loud (and decent quality) for a boombox.
