The library scan time is way longer than 6.5.0. My server is a lowly 1GHz VIA Epia but a full rescan took roughly 45 minutes. My first scan on 7 completed last night, took 48 minutes for the music and 1:05 for the cover art!!!!

All I've done is uninstall 6.5.0 and install 7, no other system-wide setting changes - wassup with that 2 hour scan time?

I like the new Default skin but could there be a stop button included :D

All my plugins (LazySearch, Alien, Magnatune, Weather Date Time), even though they're beta versions, appear to be working fine, the only one I couldn't test yet was LazySearch due to the scan not completing until after I'd retired for the evening :)

artwork precaching, so that your browse experience is faster.

That's fair enough I guess ;)

I do a full rescan at 4am every day so it won't impact me too much.

And in case you ask, I do a full vs a changed scan as I've had the odd problem in the past where I've changed a tag and it hasn't picked up correctly or given me slightly erratic results when just doing a new/changed scan. It was a while ago now so I may try it again.

So how about that stop button then ? :)

Yes, Lazy Search should be pretty stable as I've not had to change it
for a long time. I'm planning on pushing out a non-beta version now that
the server is stabilised, but it won't be significantly different to
that latest beta you have.

Check that, LazySearch works fine as well :)

Albums, Genres and tracks added as Favorites (or Favourites as we call them here) can be played from the Home page, but a AlienBBC stream added cannot. Am I doing something wrong?

Same here, from Internet Radio it works fine but not from Favourites.

Not a biggie for me TBH.

You should be able to add radio streams to favorites.

For Alien you can add individual menu levels to the favorites too, so you can bookmark in your favorites just the "comedy and quizes" menu from BBC listen again for instance. Do this from the web interface using the heart icon.

When adding radio stations to favorites you may find you need to add the metafile url rather than the stream url (as it can change each time you play it.) Try adding radio streams to favorites via the web interface if it does not work by playing the stream and then adding the currently playing stream to favorites.

Thanks, that did work, though its hardly intuitive.
