View Full Version : Browse Artists behavior when using MP3 sort order tags

Wanted to revive this thread and see if anyone else is getting the same
results as I am. I'm using artist sort order tags in the format "Smith,
John" for all the files in my library. When switching to "Browse Artists"
view the artists sort properly, i.e., the name displayed is "John Smith" but
the name appears along with artists whose last name begins with S.

Here's the problem I'm experiencing. At the top and bottom of the list of
artists is a navigation pagebar with alphabetical links that allow you to
jump to bookmarks within the list. The links in the pagebar seem to be
using the artist name rather than the sort order tags. In other words,
clicking on S would take you to "Sam Adams" instead of "John Smith."

Can anyone with a similar setup duplicate this? I need to make sure I
haven't botched the sort order tags somehow.

Thanks!

Good find. I'll see that it's fixed.
