I mean... do you think the CEO at Logitech has ever paused the mouse cursor over the Windows logo when accessing the download page for "the product formerly known as SlimServer"? I believe they bought more open source guys than they actually realized last year :-)

Whoever said anything about a problem??? Apart from publicly displaying secret Microsoft marketing plans, I do not think you are in violation of anything...

Pretty clever to use the alt tag for the message also since this is only displayed to those that really need to see the message, those that still is using a web browser that doesn't follow the HTML specification (such as IE).

Firefox correctly doesn't show the alt tag when you hower above the image, so the message is only showed to those that need to see it (like users still using IE as as web browser).
