OK.. maybe i was not clear.

I would like to order from the 5 Duets from the slimdevices web page. I live in Europe but have a couple of contacts in the states who would ship them over. But i would need a european power supply. Previously you could buy the SB3 with a EU power supply form the slim website...

After a little reasarch in Switzerland I have found that the duet can be bought in Switzerland for a reasonable 450 CHF.. around 410 $ .. but still no delivery date..

Duet should have started shipping in Europe yesterday.

http://www.toppreise.ch/prod_132359.html lists a few - more (or cheaper) might be out there.

Michael: Does that mean that I'll have one by the end of the week?

Architronic -> Lagerstatus: lieferbar in ca. 20 Tagen

I can't tell you. I only know that the product is now being shipped from our distribution center. I wouldn't cancel the weekend skiing yet ;-)

Sorry, but you can't do that. We only ship products with U.S. power adapters from the Squeezebox online store.

Any estimates of Duet availability for Australia? The logitech Australia Duet page (http://tinyurl.com/2up3sn) still just says "Notify Me". I note also that the Australian page still refers to Pandora and Rhapsody, which are not available in Australia.

The online site says "Orders include the appropriate power adaptor for the destination country. If you'd like to substitute a different power supply, or have another message for our sales team, please make a note here." - Something of a contradiction given Jim's response. (Not that this matters to sops like us who can't buy from that site and instead have the opportunity to pay about USD560 sourcing it from Logitech locally - well you might, but like Aus we still only have "Notify Me" as our buying option anyway)

I was in a similar position, I got a Duet with US power supply when I wanted UK but on looking at the power plug found that the transformer of the power supply is the same worldwide, the difference is simply removable plugs that slot into the DC transformer. So plugging a US plug into a US to European adapter plug will be fine.

But, what I could see, is that they only ship to Liechtenstein and Switserland, not the Netherlands for example.

For those of us in Europe, the Logitech site does now allow an order to be placed; I did just that this afternoon. However, I think Logitech here are letting the Slimdevices team down. I had registered on both the UK and NL sites, but never received any notification that they were now shipping (at last). If I hadn't kept an eye on these forums I'd be waiting like an idiot!

Still, can't wait to receive it. Should be a breakthrough in usability and flexibility at the price-point. If only it could pass through 24/96 to my external DAC...:-)

The "Notify Me" has gone, but no "Add to cart"...The Logitech Australia site still has no indication of how to purchase the Duet, so I called Logitech and managed to get on to a sales rep who gave me the names of the three retailers they were using for distribution (Harvey Norman, Dick Smith Electronics and, strangely, Officeworks). Unfortunately, when I called these stores they had no idea of when (and in DSE's case whether) they were getting stock.
