Hi,

I have had my Squeezebox for several years, and am now finally getting around to organizing my music.

Before my Squeezebox, I used iTunes, and was able to uncheck songs that I didn't want to play.

Is there any such feature on the Squeezebox where I can designate songs in my music folder that I don't want to play? I've read some threads about a custom skip filter, but I don't know if this is what I want. I have tons of music in my music folder, and would like to go through it and somehow mark songs that I never want to be played (but I don't want to delete them from my music folder). I also don't use iTunes anymore, and don't want to go back to it.

I downloaded mp3tag this week, and am wondering if that has something to mark songs for bypass?

Thanks for any help.
Lori

you might want to check out CustomSkip, you can find it in the plugin section.

cheers

I hate to sound totally ignorant, but how do I get to the plugin section? I have slimserver 6.5.4.
Is this a 3rd party plugin? I saw 3rd party plugins somewhere but can't seem to find it now...
thank you!!

Hi - thank you, John.
One more quick question. I don't normally use playlists - I tend to play an entire album. Will the custom skip work with this, or is it only with playlists?
