Hi, I'm new to the forum and first would like to thank all who have posted. This has made my decesion on getting a slim box easy and I feel compfortable with the set up process.

I wanted to get input on the best place to buy one. I see on crutchfield they are around $30 cheaper opposed to if you purchased one directly from slim device. Are there any drawbacks to this or does anybody know where I may be able to get one cheaper?

Thanks for the help.

Crutchfield is the cheapest I can see right now, I wouldn't have any concerns buying from them.

Perhaps the only drawback in buying from Crutchfield is the endless stream of catalogues you will recieve in the post.

Seriously though, Crutchfield is a no-risk catalogue store that is very consumer friendly.

I have bought a lot of stuff (not a SqueezeBox) from them over the past
20+ years. Their tech support staff are very good. I recommend them.

You will get catalogs for decades after each purchase.

Sorry, that promo code won't work anymore. That was a holiday promotion for this Christmas (hence the "merry" part).
