The UTV set of radio stations refuse to play on the Squeezebox.
They just rebuffer from 0 to 100%.

Such stations include:
Q102 mms://stream.u.tv/q102
Live95FM mms://stream.u.tv/95fm

I've tried with both SqueezeNetwork and SqueezeCenter to prove that it isn't a geographical issue.
Could it be a codec issue?

I've tried using #slim:noscan=1

I think there is a limitation that SB3 native needs mms URLs to use http transport. Usually a station forget to check the box to enable this facility (which also allows radio to tunnel using http through firewalls).

If you have a Windows PC then try disabling Native/Built-in WMA decoding in Server Setting/Advanced/Filetypes. This will force handling of the stream by wmadec on PC. If it plays then I think http is the problem.

What I usually do to test this is to load the http:// version of the address into my web browser. In this case it's http://stream.u.tv/103fm. If my browser returns a 404, then I know it's an http problem. In the case of the UTVs, they open up a copy of WMP, so I don't think it's that.

Another interesting observation:
The UTV stations actually play on the non-beta version of SqueezeNetwork.
Try Live95FM or Q102 to test for yourself!

The latest SN beta has now fixed this. Thanks.
