View Full Version : Can't add a plugin

I'm trying to add a plugin to the plugin folder, under linux/RH 9 with no
luck.

It shows up in the server settings as a checked check box, but I can't
access it under the Plugins menu item on my slimp3. It has the same
settings as the other plugins -- same owner, group and permissions. It's
like it is a ghost.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ryan

you are probably missing modules that the plugin needs. Run slimserver.pl
--d_plugin to see what is causing it to fail.

to install modules in RH, run:
perl -MCPAN -e "install Module"

where Module is the name of the perl module you need, for example, a forecaster
plugin will need Geo\Weather.pm, so you would type:
perl -MCPAN -s "install Geo::Weather"

good luck
