View Full Version : Transporter knob degaussing?

I updated to SC7 over the weekend with Transporter firmware version 40. I've noticed that now I seem to be getting a slight buzzing noise from the TP itself several times per minute. It sounds to me like what others have described as the function knob degaussing itself. The thing is: I never had this noise before (or, if I did, it happened so infrequently that I never heard it).

It's a bit annoying. Is there anything that can be done about it?

Thanks,
Joe

Thanks, Sean.

Sorry - I'm new at the 'bug' thing. Can I put my e-mail in the cc: list without it being picked up by spammers?

Joe

Unfortunately I don't think that list is properly spammer-proof. But you can drop by that URL once in a while to check for updates.

Note that FW40 is in active development so you may encounter other bugs. If you like, you can report them to the Beta forum and we will file an appropriate bug for you: http://forums.slimdevices.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12

You could create a google email address and use it for the slim
bugzilla. Have google forward to your actual email address after
flushing anything not from slim bugs.
