View Full Version : slimserver rescan ignores songs with # in filename

Hello!

I'm new to this forum. I hope someone can help with the following: when I do a rescan, my version of Slimserver ignores songs with the character '#' (hash) in their filename.

I'm running SlimServer Version: 6.5.4 - 12568 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 and Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread. I have not added any additional plug-ins.

Is this a known feature of slimserver? XP Pro doesn't object to #'s in file or folder names.

This should be fixed in the 6.5.5 nightly build or SC7.

Thanks Michael.

Which of the various 6.5.5 nightlys is right for Windows XP (if any are)?

Looks like XP has two contenders:
SlimServer_6.5_v2008-01-30.no-cpan-arch.tar.gz
or
SlimServer_6.5_v2008-01-30.tar.gz

Don't know why it wasn't there. But take the .exe file.
