The new public 5.1 server release will not recognize
my music directory. I get the Oops message. the 2/4
nightly build works fine. (OSX 10.3.2, iTunes) This
happened to me a while back on a nightly build, but I
don't remember what the fix was:-(. I looked through
the archives, but couldn't find the topic. Unless I
missed it, can you add a search feature to the
archives? Browsing momth by month is not the most
efficient method available.

Julius

P.S. I did change my music folder location in iTunes
and back to rebuild the XML file. The server still
claimed my music folder as an invalid directory.

Hi Julius,

Can you post the path where your music is stored?

Also, SlimServer doesn't know how to follow old-style Mac aliases, but
it does know about symbolic links. Could that be your issue?
