I like Netgear and D-Link products, Linksys used to be good stuff, but now
that Cisco owns them they seem to have taken a different tact with customer
support and the like.

I dont have one, but I've been reading interesting things about the Linksys
WRT54G, mainly becuase its based on linux. This has allowed third parties
to
create alternate firmware with a great number of features beyond what
linksys
provides by default. I currently have a BEF211S4, which is 802.11B and has
been
serving well. Previously I used a Mandrake Box for custom routing and
firewall,
but it just took too much time to set up given that ended up taking it
offline
so much to upgrade it.

I've had two non-wireless Linksys routers in a row go bad, and I'm also
very annoyed that their interface almost but not-quite works in Mozilla.
I won't buy another Linksys.

Since I've also had bad experiences with Netgear and D-Link, the lesson
is either "don't go shopping with Jack" or "mainstream consumer
electronics suck and it's a gamble to get one that works".
