HTC Shift- the ultimate slimserver controller?

    Touch screen, 7" 800x480
    Slide out QWERTY keyboard
Windows OS (best to switch to XP)

HTC Shift full specifications. Latest: The HTC Shift contains a second processor and can operate in either Windows desktop mode or switch to a low-power, cut-down PocketPC mode. The PocketPC part is based on a 400Mhz Qualcomm cpu with 64MB of memory. Mouse pointer is actually a mouse pad. X9000 (US version) contains Sprint EVDO module, not HSDPA as in the X9500

Na, no better than using an iPhone anyway. Since the new Controller has been announced, no smart phone or Internet tablet or computer will compare. That's my 2 cents anyways! Ymmv...

Isn't this the combo which will pop up a window telling you your screen
resolution was too small to run Windows reasonably?... Some of Windows'
dialogs don't fit that screen. Try hitting the Cancel button :-)

Most annoying is that it needs to rebuild its wireless conection when you turn it on. So if you want to skip a number it will take 10 to 15 seconds. I stopped using it after only days. The controller doesnt seem to have this problem.

It's nice that these devices can control slimserver, but they are not nice to control slimserver as a primary controller (now the controller is ere, or even an touch).
            Cheers, auto.

But with the SS Duet remote it appears not to display multiple albums at once on screen with album art? Any screenshots with on screen images?

Check out this awesome in-depth video demonstration that was posted recently:

This is the new Slimdevices (Logitech) Duet. Still in Beta, but you can get the idea here. I searched EVERYWHERE for a video walking through the basic feat...
