I have tried a manual scan and this is what I get:

root@NASCouper1:/opt/slimserver# ./scanner.pl --wipe --progress --d_scan --d_parse /ext/Qmultimedia
2008-01-11 05:05:41.4153 scanPathOrURL: Finding valid files in: /ext/Qmultimedia
2008-01-11 05:05:41.4218 About to look for files in /ext/Qmultimedia

2008-01-11 05:05:41.5684 scanDirectory: Didn't find any valid files in: [/ext/Qmultimedia]

My Qmultimedia folder is loaded with folders of flac files. Any thoughts?

Running QNAP TS209Pro with 2 WD 1 TB Drives in Raid 1
Firmware Version 1.1.5 build 1221T
SS is at 6.5.4

What does "ls -l /ext/Qmultimedia" say?

That its empty :-(

EDIT:
So after realizing that this folder should not be empty and stumbling on another thread that talked about using a different folder than Qmultimedia for the music store, I discovered that my Qmultimedia folder was not mounted in the Slimserver area.

Executing:
mount -o bind /share/MD0_DATA/Qmultimedia /share/MD0_DATA/etch/ext/Qmultimedia
I was able to mount the share and see the files with ls.

I am now happily scanning my library once again. Now I will have to discover why my mount did not work, which is probably related to the reason my ss seems to disappear for a great deal of time periodically. Just have to patch this together until SC7 comes out.

Then SS is working fine, I'd say :-)
