The more I read about the Duet, the more I want to just go and buy it. What I haven't seen in the discussions (and apologies if I've missed it, but they are long threads) is when will it be going on sale? Has anyone seen the Duet listed at online retailers? A Google UK search this morning has shown it listed at play.com (http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/4162882/Logitech-Squeezebox-Duet-Digital-Music-Wireless-Audio-Streamer/Product.html?cm_mmc=Froogle-_-PC-_-Peripherals-_-Logitech%2BSqueezebox%2BDuet%2BDigital%2BMusic%2BW ireless%2BAudio%2BStreamer&source=5066&engine=froogle_pc&keyword=Logitech+Squeezebox+Duet+Digital+Music+Wir eless+Audio+Streamer#) with no availability or price yet shown (the Google shopping page showed 999.99, but I assume that's just a default price when they don't have an actual one).

As Logitech have the Duet listed at 279, I assume it will be cheaper elsewhere, possibly nearer 250. After all, they have the SB3 at 219, more expensive than anywhere else. Even PC World have the SB3 at 179.99 (http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?sku=424887&page=Product).

Does anyone know when the Duet will be shipping?

I see ripcaster https://www.ripcaster.co.uk/node/282 have them for preorder, currently listing them as "expected 1st Feb".

They have them listed as duet 279, controller 199 and receiver 99. I would guess while the products are new you won't find great savings on these prices...

Unsuprisingly these are higher than the exchange rate + taxes prices from the states. Looking at the dollar to pound prices of SB3 I thought the receiver should be approx 90 but I fully expected that to be rounded up to just below 100 as has happened. I don't think the UK price points are quite as compelling as the US ones!
