I don't know how universal the 3 digit codes are that my universal remote
uses. I has a big list brands and product types, each with a 3 digit code.
Naturally, Squeezebox isn't listed.

Anyone have any luck using a universal remote with the Squeezebox? What
code did you use?

Thanks,
Phillip

I bought a URC-8911, and created a custom code. The remote can learn IR codes,
and there are tools online to download the information and reprogramme the
learned codes into a custom installed code. works like a charm.

I second that. I have the URC-8910 and Kevin's custom code works better
than the one I learned right off the remote. There are 2 other SliMP3
upgrades for the URC series on the JP1 Yahoo group, butboth of them are
broken.
