Hi all
Happy Christmas!

Trying to troubleshoot my fathers install from a far....
He has installed 6.5.4 on a Win XP (SP2) machine.
Having issues with Slimserver starting up...

He only has a library with 2 songs in at the moment (!) and no artwork.
Do either of these seemingly related outputs have significance?

Thanks

Nic

It looks like SlimServer doesn't permission to write into the cache folder, which is where it keeps resized thumbnails. Check the permssions on the Cache folder, which SlimServer uses for a lot of things. It could easily be a firewall issue as well.

Thanks JJZolx,
I'm suspicious of his firewall, need to check that out! (Had initial port issues also...)
