Hey all,

I updated to the latest version as of 1/26, the "release candidate 5.1"
version. And I'm still having some problems. I'm running under Win2k
Build 2195, SP4 w/a 1GHz processor and 512MB of mem.

First problem:

This comes when I use the remote player interface. The server will crash.

Here is the sequence of steps:
1) Fire up slim server (E:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\slim) from a
command prompt
2) Open the slim server app from the icon
3) Connect winamp to http://127.1:9000/stream.mp3
4) Hit refresh on the slim server window

Slim crashes with this message:

> File does not exist or cannot be read. at /PerlApp/Audio/WMA.pm line 20.
> Can't call method "comment" on an undefined value at
> /PerlApp/Slim/Formats/WMA.p
> m line 30.

I have two SB clients, but both of them are idle. In my world this is
completely repeatable and all the obvious permutations seem to cause it
too. (BTW, I don't know why WMA would be part of any equation here - all
my stuff is mp3)

Second problem:

When I try to connect to a internet radio station that no longer exists
(or actually in this case, has moved), the SB says "connecting" and then
says that it has lost contact with slim server. The problem is that the
other SB also stops, even though they are not synched. My guess is that
the server goes to lunch for awhile in between.

I don't think that this is a connection timeout problem, cause winamp
instantly rejects the url with "could not connect" which makes me think
we're getting connection refused from the other end.

The only errors from the server are:
getpeername() on closed socket GEN18 at /PerlApp/IO/Socket.pm line 206.
getpeername() on closed socket GEN10 at /PerlApp/IO/Socket.pm line 206.

Here is the pls file I was using:

Hi Tom,

Do you have any WMA files in your folder? One or more of them is
causing the server to crash because it can't open them. I'll fix the
problem, but in the mean time, you might be able narrow down the file
that's causing the problem.
