My SB3 has died after about 2 and a half years.
Anyone recommend a good place to get it repaired in the UK (was bought from a reseller) ?
Hmmm wondering if it's worth it really though, might just get a new one.

Contact support and arrange an RMA... From what I've seen, their out-of-warranty repair rates are very reasonable.

The catch is that you will be without your SB while they fix it... but then, it doesn't work anyway.

(Years ago when I did tech support for a living, a customer called with a broken machine [fat-boat-anchor-S100 machine, which dates me :P] and wanted us to fix it... I approved the return but he didn't want to return it. "I need it!"... "But it's broken, send it back.." "I can't, I need it!" How he needed a system that wouldn't boot is beyond me... Maybe he didn't have a ballast or needed a space heater...)

Although DOS 2.0, PIP etc, etc does.

How about 8 inch floppy disks?

Actually it was Concurrent CP/M-8/16.

So, yeah, 8 inch floppies, but no DOS.

PIP, of course, but not DOS.
