View Full Version : can I connect to my home theatre?

I am thinking of buying a sqeezebox but am not sure of where I can connect to. I dont want to use a hifi so would love to be able to play through my Panasonic home theatre sound system.model number SC-HT540/SC-HT990..if I can where do I connect and will I need other cables to set this up..sorry to be a bit boring but want to get it right first time

from what i've read, you will be able to connect the analogue outputs of the sb to the panasonic (the red and white interconnects). it seems you are also able to connect to the 3.5mm jack on the front of the panasonic if worse comes to worse. unfortunately the panasonic does not have an extra digital input sso you will not be able to get digital sound from your sb. tthough this shouldn't deter you from purchasing a sb. hope this helps. -D

You don't need any additional cables.
Just use the RCA cable that comes with the squeezebox to connect it to the AUX input of the panasonic.
