Hi, I have just recently installed slimserver on my macbook pro, and all my music is on my external drive. since I started using this, I am not able to eject my drive while my computer is running. I need to do this because I take my laptop to the college, and I don't always have the time to shut it down. please help me out.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this so please forgive my ignorance.

You'll need to at least stop slimserver so that it's no longer accessing the
drive.

Open the SS preference pane and shut down SlimServer before you try to eject the drive.
