I have a question that I think may have already been posted but Im not
sure I still understand if its possible, and if so, how?

First I have the original slimp3 unit. Its been going strong for over
5 months now and Ive never had to touch it. More than I can say for
the 6 computers we have on the network :-( Luckily, the home I
purchased had speakers running to most of the first floor rooms and both
the front porch and rear deck. I must say sitting on mty back deck with
my wireless laptop, switching playlists remotely makes most of my geek
friends wildley jealous!

Anyway, I have my slimp3 located in the basement (again, luckily the
house had net jacks in every room) next to my amp and where the speaker
wire is home run to. However, on the second floor there are no speakers.
However, I have PCs in all but one room. Question is.is there any way
I can configure a standard mp3 player (on each PC) to play the same
streams that are currently playing on the MP3 and over the speakers on
the main floor? That way I could leave the speakers (on the PCs) turned
up a bit and have true whole house audio.

I have the slimp3 server running on an upstairs server (P4, 1G RAM,
Windows XP HE, 200G HD).

Any help is greatly appreciated as it is annoyingly quiet upstairs. Not
sure why the previous owners only installed speakers on the main floor.
Guess I cant really complain though at least I have a solution.

PS> When are they going to have slimp3 shirts!! Id love to personally
advertise for such a great product!!!

not the same stream, no. Your best bet is going to be more stereo
equipment upstairs, IMHO.
