I am running G wireless (Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 ) and have a great signal. All network tests pass 100% on SB3. Yet on 24bit/48000khz flacs, I get occasional drops and skips. I am running Inguz on a 2ghz P4 and it is not taxing the cpu. Trying to avoid running a wire, is this common?

The 3000kBps network test should cover this sample rate adequately...unless you have short bursts of interference which cause signal drop-outs completely. Do other flacs play OK? Try monitoring the SB3 buffer fullness over a period of time when you hear the drop-outs to determine if it is a network issue.

Think I figured it out. This server is multi-homed and Slimserver was running on the DMZ interface. I added "--playeraddr" arg to force it onto the LAN side and all seems well. More testing will insure tho.
