Would it be possible for the server, or perhaps also via the slimp3, to
check whether all the files referenced in a just loaded playlist
actually still exist and indicate any errors? I ask because I sometimes
move files around and can't remember which playlists they are referenced
by, and was mighty confused when the player just said 'stopped' and
refused to play the file from a playlist. I know in Winamp it
automatically skips to the next file, but pressing play on the slimp3
doesn't do anything in this case.

Second request, is there a way to have the web interface say 'Artist'
with 'Song' from 'Album', instead of just 'Song' by 'Artist' from
'Album' ? It would make scanning through long lists a bit easier.

Thanks,
Pascal.

That's a great suggestion. Can you put the details in a bug report on
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/ ?

Quoting dean blackketter <dean (AT) slimdevices (DOT) com>:

btw, latest CVS should actually skip through bad songs instead of just
immediately returning to sop as it has done in the past.
