Just to add to this, after reading the archives, my server is on an
Inter/PRO card on Win XP/Professional and did have a problem until I did the
change suggested in the FAQ's to the windows/intel driver, but since then it
has been fine other than this problem.

Original message:

I am having a problem with my Squeezebox, running 5.0.3 through a wired
network. Also happened with 5.0.1.

If I pause the player using the remote control, it correctly pauses the
music. However if I then restart it by pressing pause again, it starts to
play what is in its buffer, and stops after about 10 seconds. The only way
to get it to continue playing is to use 'skip' forward or back, or to select
another track/album.

Is anyone else seeing this, and is there a fix?

Regards

Roderick Manzie

This is a known issue with a known solution. It's on my list but I have
a couple things ahead of it.
