      If I were you I'd remove the duf socket and hard wire flying leads to a more robust in line connector...this will prevent the pluging and unpluging of headphones from damaging the pcb mounted device...

      I've a box full of dead walkmans where the pcb mount socket has damaged the pcb beyond useful repair[actually my wife throw them out!]

        Take the line out signals to a decent headphone amp. Slimdevices themselves admitted in a separate thread that they didn't spend a lot of money on their circuit...
