I've been using SlimServer 6.5.1 since it came out, and now I've built a new server machine, and installed the latest 6.5.4.

What files do I need to move from the old installation to the new server, in order to retain all the settings in 6.5.1?

Do I need do make any changes in these files to make them 6.5.4 compatible?

The file's name depends on the OS you're using. But it's something like
slimserver.pref (Windows) or slimserver.conf (Linux). You'll find it in
the program folder (Windows XP), the "All users settings" (or similar on
Vista), /etc/ (Linux) or /Library/something on the mac.

I just copied the whole /program files/slimserver tree onto the new machine and then installed slimserver. Everything survived - settings, plugins, configuration.
