Hi,

Following the setup of my second SB3 and very soon my 3rd SB3, I have run into a few questions.

1. How do I sync the settings between the players? I know, I can sync the audio, but I would like the interface to be the same also

2. I am running the latest nightly build of SqueezeCenter (as of 13th October 07), but in the default menu structure pushed to the SB's there is a no longer an option to connect to SqueezeNetwork. With SlimServer, it used to be the same option in the "main menu" list.

3. Stupid me, I set the password on SC and two seconds later forgot it. I got the password removed in the prefs file, but not before I noticed that my password to SqueezeNetwork and SC was listed in the file unencrypted.

4. In my Album menu, I have an entry for Azureus, but I do not have Azureus running anywhere on the network.
* UPDATE * Removed the entry by disabling UPNP support, but still curious why it showed up. Can I somehow find the IP on which that UPNP server was?

/Peter

You can't. That feature has been mentioned before, but it's not
implemented. Might be an interesting once you've read that "learning perl"
book ;-)

I didn't even notice this... but imho it's no longer needed as the SQN
services are integrated into SC. Why did you want to connect to SQN?

If you still want to do so, press & hold left until you're dropped out of
the main menu into the setup mode. There you can select one of the
available SlimServer/SqueezeCenters or connect to SqueezeNetwork.

Feel free to open a bug report on http://bugs.slimdevices.com - thanks!

Hi Michael,

As with regards to SQN, I wanted to log onto it, since - like you - I hadn't noticed that features were now in SC, until now that is... I am to used to SS I guess....

For the settings... hmmm.. my perl is already rusty as it is... studied advanced application development back in the day, but haven't written a line of code or script in more than 5 years, just started to move in a different direction at work and at home... ;)

Well, where are player settings stored? If in the prefs file, i guess, I could just copy them around....

btw.. it is was nice to meet you the other day...
