Hi ,

I'm using the slimserver to stream music to my work location and
listening to it using winamp.

Things works fine, however the browser keeps refreshing every 20 - 30
seconds. I've tried both IE and Mozilla and both act the same. Is there
any way to stop this behavior or to slow it down? This problem doesn't
happen when I'm at home and working on my LAN

I'm using a relatively current nightly build of the server (5.0.1)
running on RedHat 9.0. At work im running Win2K.

Thanks

this is a setting. The browser refreshes to keep up with changes while there is
playback. If you are listening to internet radio and want a slow timing, go to
server settings, additional, interface. You will see a listing for Browser
Rrefresh Timing. Enter the number in seconds that you would prefer. 0 does NOT
disable in this case, so if you want it to neer refresh, pick a large number
instead.

That fixed it. I knew it was something simple.

Thanks
