Dear,

In the beginning of this year some reported that all connections were
reversed. Today I discovered that my squeezebox (Firmware v6, nightly
01/12/2004, Windows 2000 Server sp4, connected via Toslink to Marantz
amplifier) was doing the same: left and right are reversed. For my music I
only use FLAC files

My question: What is the status of this problem? Is there (going to be) a
solution?

We'll be addressing this problem in the next update to the firmware on
the player.

Sorry for the delay.

This bug is confirmed (for FLAC/PCM formats, not MP3) and will be fixed
ASAP. Sorry for the delay - haven't had much time to work on firmware
in the last couple weeks but now I'm chained to my desk again.

The responsiveness demonstrated and positive energy enamating from the
developers on this is absolutely astounding, only to be compared with
the support list of Stalker's Communigate Pro. Thanks guy's! I love my
SqueezeBox and f2f-market it every day. One of these days I'll be able
to pay back to the community too, somehow, translating a user manual or
whatever (It's been a while since I did any coding).

This is now fixed in the nightly builds - need to update firmware
(press and hold brigthness).

Dean's rolling out 5.0.3 soon.
