Then you'll first have to know whether they do stream to internet radio. Once you know this, give us an address where you found the information.

Sky Radio 101 FM can be streamed at 128Kbps from http://sradio.tv/stream/789.m3u, certainly works in RealPlayer. I guess you can try adding the URL to slimserver.

Erh, when I open that in IE, it works.
Can you please tell me what MyPicks is ?
Yes, I am a newbie :-(

Hmm, when I open that link with IE, then WinAmp starts, but can not open this.

Here's what I did.

- Start internet explorer and go to http://localhost:9000/
- Clicked on Tune In URL
- Paste "http://www.garnierstreamingmedia.com/asx/skyradio.asp"
- Click Tune In
- Walked to my squeezebox
- Pressed play and it started to play ... for 5 seconds, then it reboots and keeps rebooting after playing 5 seconds when I press play.

Go the the PugIns area
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?SlimServerPlugins
Choose PluginsAudio - then MyPicks
That links to a help page.

Then take the working URL and it as an internet radio.
Should work - because the URL with "ASX" in it points to a file that contains 2 streaming URLs.
Less reliable - but avoiding the intro is to take the 2nd URL from the ASX
http://81.173.4.30/Skyradio

I have downloaded the MyPicks-0.6-6.5.zip file and I can open it, but where do I place it then ?
Sorry, I work in IT but this is new to me.

I have downloaded the MyPicks-0.6-6.5.zip, placed the contents in the \Program Files\SlimServer\server\Plugins folder and restarted slimserver sofwtare.
Now I see an extra option in the webpage of slimservers, called "My Picks".
When I click in that, I have a few buttons, so what do I do from here ?

From the web interface to SlimServer:
Plugins/My Picks OPML Editor
Load My Picks (which will be empty first time)
New Entry
Ignore first box (for now anyway)
then put in the Audio Stream details in the 2 boxes under the title Audio Stream.
Name on the left - URL on the right
Then click Add
Then
Save My Picks

Then try navigating from web interface or the Squeezebox (Internet Radio/My Picks)

It works perfectly.
I have added it to my favourites too, but there I see the mms:// link, will it be possible to change that into another text ?

It is possible to change that - but not so easy.
From memory ... you have to edit a text file called slimserver.pref in the SlimServer directory.
Look for favorite_titles and zap it.
Probably have to shut down SlimServer first.

However, if you have assigned it to a number ... (e.g. 1) then you can play it by simply holding the 1 key down for a few seconds on the remote ... in that case .. who cares what it is called in Favo(u)rites.

Works as well, edited the file and it displays the right name in the list now.

Excuse me for my English ... :-(

Btw.
I have removed http://www.garnierstreamingmedia.com/asx/skyradio.asp and added mms://81.173.4.30/Skyradio, because http://www.garnierstreamingmedia.com/asx/skyradio.asp initially starts with mms://81.173.1.203/skyradio/spots/HCSALSAVERS3.mp3 and mms://81.173.4.30/Skyradio is the second option, but mms://81.173.1.203/skyradio/spots/HCSALSAVERS3.mp3 is interrupted very often.

It works, I am happy, my girlfriend is happy and I thank you again.

My comment wasn't against your English - Favorites is what the Americans call it. The English (of England and close neighbours) include the extra character here and there just to be different.

Yup, it's under My Picks, it's under Favorites and it's under the 1 key.

Btw ...
Who makes the list of internet radio channels that is available on the squeezebox ?
Can we ask to have this channel added ?
