Just a short note to let you all know that I am now an official Logitech/Slim developer. I'll be working closely with Richard and others on the Jive platform, which I'm really excited about, as well as anything else thrown my way.

As many of forum regulars may know, I've been an avid slimdevices fan for many years now, and started into helping out with slimserver development towards the end of 2005 with the Nokia770 and Touch skins. It's going to be great to expand to a full-time role. Looking forward to it!

cheers,
#!/ben

Assimilated to the "evil corporate" giant!
Congratulations bklaas...an asset I'm sure.
Does this mean a new avatar?
I like the current one.

More congratulations here Ben!

A well deserved thanks for all your work on the 770 skin, and looking forward to the new Jive goodness, or whatever else results from your (recompensed) efforts.

Ja! So...it's nice to see a Minnesotan finally as part of the team, then.

Way to go Ben. I'll pm you some projects you can work on for me. ;-)

Congratulations!

(btw, I'm in a vacation house right now that has a russound system installed throughout. While wildly expensive it is bizarrely un-featured and clunky. I think it was designed to play muzak throughout a house. Long live the squeezebox and its progreny!)

First of all, congratulation Ben! And, second, Michael do I read that you're going to be joining the team soon too? That would certainly be great too! Now, what about KDF? ;)

Well then pregrats, Michael!

(Though I guessed as much when I think it was Sean saying they had just hired some people, and your board-status changed to "[undisclosed status;]" That stray semicolon is the clue.)

Blimey, at this rate there'll more more of "them" then "us"! ;-)

Well done you two - a testament to all the good work and good coding :)

....and a prove that Logitech is still serious about supporting the
community effort, too.
