bugs:
1) instead of international characters in alhabet (in top of lists for albums or artists) i get question marks;
2) in at least one album shows every song twice (and it was the same as before);

Both bugs show up about the same time not at once when started, but after couple days (slimserver run 24/7).

I saw (1) bug mentioned, but it say that I need a lot of none western tagged albums and it takes couple weeks to show up, but i have neither. Second thing it seems that bugs are connected, course they show up the same time.

after restart:
(1) is cured;
(2) still there

ps. sorry for posting bug report here, just I couldn't find up the old thread/report

What characters are these (asian, hebrew, greek, ...)?

Can you make sure they don't have the tags mixed up (eg. both id3v1 and
id3v2 in them)?

Are you using iTunes or MusicIP? Or are there any playlists in your music
folder which point to a non existing file? This can eg. happen, when you
create a playlist on your Windows PC while having the server folder
mounted over Samba. The playlist would end up with DOS style paths
(x:\mymusic\...) which the server doesn't understand.

Now that's very strange.

Cyrillic, i have just one album.

Thanks for link, probably that's it.

checked on tag&rename it says only id3v2.

I don't use iTunes or MusicIP, and don't share folder, though I can have unresolvable playlists in my library, not in that folder thought (only cover JPEG and MP3's). Had some thoughts about that?

BTW maybe someone already have such thing - SQL query(making browse folder or playlist) to test database for albums with double entries or simply double entries?
