Hi,

I use SlimServer together with Plutohome system. It worked fine till last week. Now when I try to start it I get following output:

dcerouter_1:/usr/pluto/servers/SlimServer# ./slimserver.pl --audiodir /home/public/data/audio -cliaddr 127.0.0.1 --cliport 7890 --d_protocol --d_cli --d_server --d_mdns

The version of the SlimServer is 6.2.2. OS - Debian. Kernel - 2.6.16.20.

I suspect that it can be because the power was down last week and the server wasn't shutdown properly.

Any help will be appreciated!

All I could imagine are a corrupted database or configuration file. Rename
the two (/etc/slimserver.pref & Cache/MySQL folder or similar) and
restart. This would reset all your configuration and the database. If it's
working again, try replacing the newly created configuration file with the
backup version.

Thanks, Michael, for your replay. As you suggested I renamed .slimserver.conf and .slimserversql.db and restarted SlimServer but without luck. After that I checked .slimserver.conf carefully and found that cache directory is /root. I changed it to /var/cache and server started!
