Hi,

I'm studying the possibility to use a few Squeezboxes into my bathroom,
kitchen, etc. I'm looking for a set of powered and amplified speakers
that integrate well with the Squeezebox in some sort of wall-mout.

Any recommendation ?

I could of course build something myself, by integrating a power supply,
the Squeezebox, an amplifier module and a large-band loudspeaker in the
same box. However, I'm afraid it wouldn't look very nice...

Charles,

I just saw your append - see mine below. We are envisioning and
investigating the same thing. I would like put some powered speakers flush
mounted. However, I am coming up short looking for powered in-wall, flush
mount speakers. I'll keep looking and post if I find something.

Do you see the advantage of having a seperate wall volume control for each
room? While the remote is great for active rooms, a simple volume control
is sufficient for some passive-listening rooms.

The best sounding small powered speakers I've heard are these:

Patrick uses these for demos when he is on the road and they've been
great.

(Don't bother flaming, I know that people have strong feelings about
Bose speakers...)
