I know the idea has already been floated around and I know it should be possible to DIY with the openish source. But can anyone on the inside comment on whether it is likely that the Jive platform will be supported officially on something such as pocketPC or is it likely that it will eventually require a proprietary device on which to run?

SlimDevices never commented on upcoming products before they were ready. I
doubt they will change this now.

Yeah I know, standard answer. My question was based more on the jive software platform and it's philosophy - not so interested in what the new remote is going to be. I've sort of got the impression that the web interface is going to remain the standard interface 'open hardware'.

Anyhow, for now I'll stick with SlimRemote thanks ;)
