I've looked around and haven't seen any. I'd like to be able to convert playlists from different products to native SlimServer playlists.

Specifically MusicIP, but others would be potentially useful.

I am running SlimServer on a dedicated Linux music server and, as I understand it, for SlimServer to use MusicIP playlists currently both SlimServer and MusicIP have to be running on the same box. MusicIP only runs on Windows so that is out.

Thanks!

MusicIP Mixer also runs on Mac OS X, and (drum roll...) linux. You might be interested in these pages:

I'm sure others around here have even more useful info for this setup, but it's fairly common. (Linux SS + MIP)

As whicken mentions correctly (of course - who knows if not him?) you can
run MIP on Linux. I've got it running headlessly on a an old RH7.3
based(!) system with no problem. Just make sure it's running before you
start slimserver.
