Hello all,

Installed today's build on my mac running 10.3.2 and it's kinda buggy.
I am using the iTunes xml file. It asked me to upgrade the firmware
which I did. I am now at version 6 which is cool. Looking at the
browser shows the following though:

Your music library contains 2078 albums with 4 songs by 468 artists.

This is obviously wrong. It is 31,514 songs. This was never a problem
for me in the past. Also when I try and play some albums, they never
actually start playing on the squeezebox. They just stay in a stopped
state. I know the mp3s are fine as I can play them in iTunes or via
command line with mpg123. So what gives? Should I revert back to the
latest "official" release even though my firmware has been updated?
Thoughts, ideas?

Overall I am happy with your product but I do find it to be flaky at
times. That is one reason I am glad that you that are in the know
constantly strive to make it better/more stable. For that reason, I am
gonna try and stick it out. I look forward to the day when I can box
up all my CDs and throw them in the closet. I hope that day comes
soon enough.

Thanks,

Mike

Is is "MP3 Tag Database" option set to Cache or Don't Cache? (This option is
on the Additional Server Settings page under Performance).

If it is set to Cache, set it to Don't Cache, rescan your library and and
let us know if it helps.
