Owen,

Thanks for your correspondence.

I checked my router log as you suggested (see below). It seems that the
line "* 00042005112D" appears whenever the squeezebox loses its connection
with the slimserver software. Unfortunately, I don't know how to interpret
"* 00042005112D".

Also of potential interest is the fact that other wireless devices seem to
lose the ability to communicate with the wireless router when the squeezebox
is active and reporting error messages. Thus, it is possible that the
squeezebox is somehow crashing the router. But I may be getting ahead of
myself here.

Wireless Router (SMC Barricade) log:

WAN Type: Dynamic IP Address (R1.93n)
Display time: Sunday, January 04, 2004 12:53:34 PM

* Restarted by 192.168.123.160
Sunday, January 04, 2004 12:50:55 PM DHCP:discover()
Sunday, January 04, 2004 12:50:55 PM DHCP:offer(10.2.0.1)
Sunday, January 04, 2004 12:50:55 PM DHCP:request(68.100.44.22)
Sunday, January 04, 2004 12:50:56 PM DHCP:ack(DOL=86400,T1=43200,T2=75600)
* 00042005112D
* 00042005112D

I hope you can get some technical help on the sleep/wake issue.

Regards,
Peter
