Let's get hypothetical -

DRM - Mission accomplished.

If you possessed the last remaining recording CD/Vinyl ... what would you wish it to be?

If I was going to keep it and listen to it I would choose:

Kamelot - The Black Halo (My favorite CD)

If I was planning on selling it I would choose:

The Beatles - White Album

"Kamelot - The Black Halo (My favorite CD)"

Shades of Kansas/Styx/Rush in it's own unique wrapper.

Me thinks it belongs on me Amazon wish list.

Check out the samples on Amazon before buying. They are quite a bit heavier than the bands listed. The vocalist is one of the best.

Thank you Mike,
Yes, fairly heavy.
The vocalist (Roy Kahn)? - got pipes (old school)

ok...come on!
Spend a moment to ponder my question.
Take some time aside from the usual discourse to contribute to my survey.

I would have to go with Whirlpool by Dr Phibes and the House of Wax Equations. I don't suppose it would ever appear as a download as it was on their own label prior to getting a deal with a major and the lead singer/guitarist subsequently ended up in jail (for life I think).

It's my favorite album and it proves that psychdelia certainly didn't die with the 60's

Jetho Tull, Thick as a Brick. If you have to ask why, you maybe wouldn't get it :-)

No need to ask ... your selection speaks volumes.

Mal Waldron - "Update"

i had to check twice that it didn't say MAL WALDON. he's a newscaster here in australia so i kind of got a little worried...although it couldn't be as bad as john tesh's release.

back on the topic at hand...possibly...Nils Langren Funk Unit / Fonk Da World

Nah. Mal Waldron was one of the many criminally undervalued piano players jazz produced. He died a few years back. 'Update' is from the late 80s and is a favorite of mine; a dedication to Cecil Taylor that sounds nothing like CT and a Sammy Cahn tune, among others.
