I just found this post in Gizmodo. It mentions that the Logitech Harmony 1000 is going to be updated to support voice recognition search function to load music from your media library. Without wifi I don't see how this remote can access the Slimserver, so the question is... What kind of "media library" are they talking about?

I see, now it makes sense. I just looked at the Gizmode RSS feed. Hmmm, very interesting. I had not read about the jive platform in the developers forum until now. My dream of a "universal" IR/wifi remote might come true. Where do I sign up to be a beta tester for the hardware?

the pepperpad will claim to have made it there first, but i am counting on a logitech device to work well with SB3 (it has to be a big plus for the acquisition)
ir/wifi (rf too(?)) to replace a harmony and nokia 770
for jive, check out http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?Jive
