    Batch rearrange file structure

I have an 11,000 song library which I ripped into FLAC. I arranged the library as J:/Arist/Album/File.FLAC

By doing this when I do searches by album the songs in compilation albums show up as multiple copies of the same album with one song each as opposed to one album. I believe I am having the problem described here:

What I would like to do is to batch rearrange the file structure where compilation albums would be listed as J:/album/files. I tried tag and rename but it was a little unwieldy. Is there an easier way?

Have you tried Mp3tag? Right-click, select "Filename from tag", then album/title.

You may have to manually flatten the directory structure for those albums, i.e. move the files to the root directory first, before doing this. Otherwise it may make subfolders within the existing folders.
