Does anyone know of a program that allows you to control Slimserver from a WM5 device. I have tried Telcanto but can't seem to get it to work.

thanks for replies, I didn't realise SS had a simplfied GUI in the form of the /handheld path, cheers.

I tried Michael Herger's program but couldn't get it to work. Maybe will try again and raise some questions.

Does anyone know if it's possible to browse by album cover using a handheld device, a bit like the Sonus system?

When in the album list, you can switch between the list view and the cover
art view (see button top right - SlimServer 6.5+ only).

I just tried slimremote on WM5 device. By way of hint to others:

- Install the Cab for Ewe runtime for PocketPC (low res for me)

- Download and copy Slimremote for all platforms

- Do not add ":9000" to your server address when entering the details. It seems to do this automatically.

My only problem is the keyboard (SIP) icon hides menu tabs, so I could not access slim library until switching to landscape (over portrait).

Michael, have you had a chance to bottom that out? Fixed SIM Position in Ewe did not make difference. Could the library etc. tabs be relocated to the top (cheeky to ask, I know)?
