I am going to buy a second hand SB3 from the United States. The power supply is for the USA. I want to know if its compatible with the Euroean voltage (220 - 240 V.) Can I damage the SB3 if I use herein Europe?
Can I use another power supply with 5 V. and 1 A.?

Thanks in advance

My North American region PS does clearly indicate "100-120V" so you'd need a transformer and a pin changer, but it also indicates "50/60 Hz" so the frequency shouldn't be a problem.

There are lots and lots of threads on suitable replacements, mostly linear supplies, search for "power supply" and you'll have a week's worth of reading. A cheap linear supply may be cheaper than the 230/120 transformer and pin changer.
