Has anyone written a plugin that will control an XM PCR receiver? It
would be pretty cool to be able to listen to XM from the Slimp3.

Thanks,

Matt

I was thinking about this a few weeks ago - it's best implemented as plugin.

Each OS will have a different way of talking to the PCR via USB/serial.

The audio data is transported over analog rca jacks, so those would need to
be sent to your soundcard's input, and the Slim plugin told to read PCM(?) data
from it. Also very platform specific.

It's too bad that the audio isn't transported over USB, though there is a
hack to put a S/PDIF interface on it. Not for the faint of heart.

Was that what you had in mind?
