Hello,

Just a couple of days ago I bought my new Squeezebox and I am very happy with it.

I cannot play internet radio stations that broadcast only with Real Audio. Is it possible to stream these stations through Squeezebox?
How do I add them in my slimserver and/or squeezenetwork?

thanks for reply.

You need to install AlienBBC. http://www.x2systems.com/AlienBBC/

thanks Michael -

I have installed AlienBBC but:
1. how and where can I manually enter url of stations that are not already saved in the pre set list?
2. I would like to be able also to listen to these stations also when my computer is off - can I enter them in squeezenetwork so i can listen with my computer off?

thanks.

After installing AlienBBC, support for RTSP urls and RealAudio stations is fully integrated into SlimSever so you can enter your preferred URLs using Tune-in and then to Favorites or else you could use MyPicks plugins.

You can't play RealAudio station using Squeezenetwork. RealAudio requires transcoding by the PC as RealAudio is not supported natively by the Squeezebox. Squeeznetwork only support stations which can be decoded natively by the Squeezebox such as MP3 and WMA.
