Rock on! Looks like I'll get my wish.

One question though. I'm totally confused about the
changing spec between ID3v2.3 and ID3v2.4. How can i
make sure that I'm cool in the long run? it seems like
2.4 contradicts 2.3 and i have no idea what version my
tagger supports. More importantly, i don't WANT to
know ;) I just want to rip, label nd listen. I'm
midway through ripping 1,600 cds, so I want to get
this right the first time.

BTW, I've been using Allmusic for pulling my
sub-genres and they use a comma as a delimiter.

Thanks!
Erc

It would be nice to know the bug id/link for this feature so
interested parties could track it. Dean, you seemed to indicate there
was an existing bug for this already. Do you have this information?

What tagger are you using? If it doesn't specify, but allows you to
enter a single free-form genre (i.e., not (exclusively) from a
pulldown), I'd guess it's creating ID3v2.3 tags.

Perhaps whoever is implementing this could make the delimiter
specified through the server settings.
